No Outlook Profiles in Outlook Sync

PROBLEM

  • In the Outlook Sync Utility for Gorilla 4.5, there are no Outlook profiles from which to choose.

CAUSE

This issue only occurs in Office 2013 and higher. This is because the 4.5 Outlook Sync utility was not set up to work with Office 2013 when it was originally created.

SOLUTION

  1. Download the GorillaOutlookSync.zip folder attached at the bottom of this article. 
  2. Right click on the GorillaOutlookSync.zip folder you just downloaded and choose Extract All.
  3. In the window that comes up, click on Browse and then browse to C:\Program Files (x86)\Bill Good Marketing\Gorilla CRM FS 4.5\GorillaOutlookSync and click on Select Folder.
  4. Click the Extract button.
  5. Choose the option to replace the files in the destination. 

Once that is done, open the Outlook Sync Tool again and your Outlook profile should now show up as an option.
