How to Install Artwork and Insert Letterhead in Gorilla® 4.x

ANSWER
Gorilla is configured to merge advisor and staff information through initials defined in the system. The artwork file names are directly correlated to the initials. You need to be sure that each portrait or signature file has the correct file name, or Gorilla will not be able to find it. For example:
If you do not know what the initials are for a person, you can check this by the Gorilla log-in screen
or under Tools → Team Management.
.You will need to copy those files to the Graphics folder.
- Digital signatures will need to go into the DigSig Folder
- portraits will need to go into the Portraits folders
If you do not know where your Graphics folder is located you can find the path by going to Tools → Options → Directories.
To insert your letterhead:
- Verify that the letterhead file is in the LtrHead folder that can be found within the Graphics folder referred to above.
- Open Gorilla.
- Go to Tools → Options → Messaging.
- Select the appropriate letterhead file in the letterhead dropdown list.
To insert footer:
Note** Each letter needs to have the footer inserted individually
- Open the letter to edit.
- Double-click footer in letter. 3) Delete contents of footer.
- Select Insert → Picture (in MS Word 2003 or earlier select “From File…”) and select the desired footer image file.
- Save and Exit to Gorilla.
