How to Fix Envelopes Printing Double Spaced

PROBLEM

  • When printing envelopes from Gorilla the delivery address on the envelope prints double spaced.

CAUSE

This is related to how Microsoft Word interacts with the Gorilla Macros. When the Save files in this format option in Word is not set to "Word Document (.docx)", it causes Word to open in Compatibility mode, which can cause the double spacing in envelope printing.

SOLUTION

  1. Close Gorilla and open Microsoft Word to a blank document.
  2. Click File->Options then select the Save option on the left side of the window.
  3. Verify that the Save files in this format option is set to "Word Document (.docx)", then click OK to save the changes.
