Campaign Printing Not Stopping to Load Plain Paper

PROBLEM

  • When I print from my campaign, it does not stop to let me load plain paper.

CAUSES

This could be caused by a few things:

  • You are not set up to use pre-printed stationery. Gorilla will send the print job for all pages at one time. 
  • You changed your printer settings within Gorilla, which can affect how Gorilla sends print jobs. 
  • You didn’t import the letter correctly and Gorilla is not recognizing the number of pages in the letter.

SOLUTION

  1. First, make sure your settings are correct within the message. 
    1. From the campaign, double click on the mailing event to open the message settings. 
    2. In the Options section at the top right, make sure “Print on pre-printed Stationery” is checked, then click “Save.” 
  2. Second, check your printer settings: 
    1. Click on Tools>Options>Printers.
    2. From the first drop down, choose your printer. 
    3. Make sure you don’t have anything chosen for the “First Letter Page” or “Other Letter Page” drop down menus. 
  3. If everything is correct, then the letter may not have imported correctly.  You shouldn’t have to reimport the letter, but you will need to edit it.
    1. Open the Document Manager. (Messaging>Document Manager)
    2. Highlight the letter in question and click “Edit.”
    3. Click “Edit Single.”
    4. Do not make any actual changes, but instead click on the Add Ins tab and choose “Save and Exit to Gorilla.”
    5. Click “OK” on the Define Message Window.
    6. Try printing from the campaign again.
