ANSWER

What does Campaign editor do?

Campaign Editor is used to modify and create Campaign Templates used in campaign instances.

Why Can’t I use campaign editor?

There are 2 possible answers for this.

  1. You are in undocked or satellite mode. In these modes the Campaign and Messaging functions are disabled.
  2. You are a “restricted user”. If you have been set up in team management as a “restricted user”, you do not have the ability to run the Campaign Editor.

How do I modify an existing Campaign?

  1. Go to the tool bar Click on “Campaigns” then Click on “Campaign Editor”
  2. At the top of the screen it will show which Campaign Template you are currently looking at.

    • If you wish to choose a different master, go to “file” and then “Open” then chose the campaign template you wish to modify.

  3. On the left side of the screen you will see the campaign steps. These are the Actions, Objectives, Printing times, and tracks of the Campaign
  4. On the right side you will see the Campaign Name and basic starting information used in the campaign Template.

We will break this now down in the 4 basic parts.

  • Editing Event Dates
  • Editing Tracks
  • Editing Selection rule refinements
  • Editing Campaign Steps (actions, objectives, printings)
