Forgot Password in Gorilla

PROBLEM

  • I forgot my password in Gorilla.

SOLUTION

If you are using Gorilla 4.3 and older, please call Software Support at 801-553-9888. You will need to send a copy of your database in so that we can look up the password. 

If you are on Gorilla 4.5, please follow the steps below:

  1. Have everyone exit out of Gorilla.
  2. Click on Start>Computer.
  3. Browse to C:\Program Files (x86)\Bill Good Marketing\Gorilla CRM FS 4.5\PasswordUpdater.
  4. Open the PasswordUpdatederUI.exe file.
  5. Click on the three dot box and browse to your database, then click “Open.”
  6. Click “Update.”
    • If the update was successful, you will get a message stating Update Successful. Click “OK” on that message.
  7. Cancel out of the password updater and open Gorilla. Your password will now be reset back to your username. 
    • Please Note: All users password will have been reset. Everyone will need to use their username as their password.
