How to Change Which System Owner's Clients You See

QUESTIONS THAT APPLY TO THIS TOPIC

  • I have multiple System Owners in Gorilla, what if I only want to display one System Owner’s clients?
  • I cannot display all of the clients in Gorilla, how can I make sure that I see all of them?

ANSWER

In Gorilla, if a Contact Group is missing from the Finder, it may be because you do not have that Contact Group’s System Owner selected in the Choose System Owner(s) screen. In order to have a Contact Group show, you must have the Contact Group’s Primary System Owner, and, if present, the Secondary System Owner Selected.

To Show All Contact Groups

Verify that all System Owners are selected.

  1. Click File>Choose System Owner(s).
  2. If you want to make sure that you are seeing all clients, ensure that all Primary System Owners and Secondary System Owners are selected.
  3. Click “OK,” and the changes should take effect.

You may also have the need to filter the Contact Groups you see in the Finder. To accomplish this, you may want to use one System Owner.  Make sure that you have the Contact Group’s secondary System Owner, if present, selected as well.

To Show Partial Contact Groups

Select only the specific System Owners for CGs you want displayed.

  1. Click File>Choose System Owner(s).
  2. Select the desired Primary and Secondary System Owners.
  3. Click “OK” to apply the changes.
