No Contact Groups with Sufficient Addressing Information

No Contact Groups with Sufficient Addressing Information

PROBLEM

  • When printing a letter within a campaign, you get the error "No Contact Groups with sufficient addressing information for the type selected were found. Printing aborted."

SOLUTION

Check the campaign track as you most likely have no Contact Groups in it. If this is the case, you will need to add Contact Groups using the Housekeeping Action function.

  1. From the Campaign Manager, click on File>Housekeeping Action.
  2. Click on the “Synchronize” tab.
  3. From the “Selection Rule to synchronize with” drop down, choose a selection that you would like to add to the campaign.
  4. From the “Destination Track for Added Contact Groups” drop down, choose which track you would like to add them to in the campaign.
  5. Select the “Add” radio button from “Synchronization Style” and then click on the “Run” button.

Note: If you do happen to have contact groups in a different track, those contact groups will not be added again or moved using the housekeeping action.

If there are Contact Groups in the campaign track, go through the following steps:

  1. Make sure all CGs are set up with the following:
    • Mailing Addresses
    • Addressees
    • Address Bundles
  2. If everything is setup correctly, but you still get the error, you will need to recreate the campaign and try again.
