How to List People Turning 72.5
It is important to be able to find all the people who are going to have to start making their Required Minimum Distributions. This article explains how to do that.
The screenshot above shows the filters used to show all people who turned 72 between six and seven months ago.
To create this filter:

Go to the Contact Workspace.

Add filter fields.

Select Age and Birthday. Click OK.

Set the Birthday Filter to between month-7 and month-6. Click Apply.

Set the Age filter to 72 Click Apply.

Other Date Ranges
You can adjust the Birthday Filter’s Between date range From and To values to show whatever time period you want. However, to show the ‘.5’ part of the 72.5 age, you must add 6 months onto it. For example, to show those turning 72.5 in the next 3 months, you would set the From value to month-6, and the To value to month-3.

72 or Older
If you want to find everyone who is 72 or older, then change the Operator for the Age filter to greater than or equal to and remove the Birthday filter.

Turing (or Turned) 72 This Year
If you want to see everyone turning 72 this year, you need to use the Date of Birth filter. Set it to between and select a date range between January 1st 72 years ago, and December 31st the same year.
