How to Find Opportunities in G5

The Opportunities Workspace shows all the opportunities in G5. You can also go to the Opportunity tab of a Household, Contact, or Company’s record to view opportunities.

Filter

You can use the full set of filter tools in G5 to find the opportunities you are looking for. You can learn more about filtering in G5 by watching this tutorial: https://clients.billgoodmarketing.com/lessons/navigation-and-filters/

By default, these are the saved filters available to you before you customize your own:

  • All Opportunities – This will include all opportunities in your database.
  • My Opportunities – This will show you all opportunities you are covering.
  • Open Opportunities – This will show you all open opportunities in your database.
  • My Open Opportunities – This will show you all open opportunities you are covering.
  • Owned Opportunities – This will show you all opportunities that you own.
  • Owned Open Opportunities – This will show you all open opportunities that you own.

Default Filter Chips:

These are commonly used filters and are readily available for you to use:

  • Stage – This filter will find opportunities at a similar level of progress.
  • Status – This filter will separate the opportunities by whether they are open or closed.
  • Template – This filter will show you opportunities of the same kind.
  • Type – This filter will separate your opportunities between Parent and Product Opportunities.

In addition to the default filter chips, the Filter Options button allows you to use many other filter chips as well.

Search

The search bar will search the description field of opportunities for the text you enter.

Sort

You can use any of these Sort By options to rearrange the list of opportunities based on the chosen column.

Opportunity Detail Report

This report can only be run on the Opportunities Workspace.

This version of the Detail Report works the same way other versions of it in other workspaces. The only difference is it’s fous on opportunities instead of Household, Contact, or Company records.
