Unable to Send Email Message

PROBLEM

  • When trying to send an email message from Gorilla, you get the message: 
    Unable to send email message: Retrieving the COM class factory for component with CLSID {741BEEFD-AEC0-4AFF-84AF-4F61D15F5526} failed due to the following error: 80040154.

SOLUTION

  1. Close Gorilla
  2. Click on Start (Windows 10, right click Start and then click Run) and in the search bar type the following and then press enter:
    • 64 bit system: regsvr32 "C:\Program Files (x86)\Bill Good Marketing\Gorilla CRM FS 4.3\redemption.dll"
    • 32 bit system: regsvr32 "C:\Program Files\Bill Good Marketing\Gorilla CRM FS 4.3\redemption.dll"

Note: The Gorilla folder will need to be changed based on what version you are running.

If this succeeded, you should get the following message:


Once that is done, reopen Gorilla and the message should be able to be sent.
