Type Mismatch when Adding a New Opportunity

Type Mismatch when Adding a New Opportunity

PROBLEM

  • When adding a new Opportunity to a Contact Group in Gorilla®, you receive the message "Type Mismatch" and the Due Date for the Opportunity only shows as being 12:00 AM.

CAUSE

  • This is caused by the Region and Language settings being set to a region or language that Gorilla is not compatible with. Gorilla really only supports the region being set to English (United States).

SOLUTION

  • Change the Region setting in windows to be English (United States). Make sure the short date format is set to mm/dd/yyyy or its equivalent, and that the long date format is set to dddd MMMM dd YYYY.

You can find step by step instructions in the article: Adjusting Windows Date format to Work With Gorilla 4x.
