Steps for Posting BGM Infographics on Social Media

QUESTIONS THAT APPLY TO THIS TOPIC

  • How can I get the Infographics onto Facebook or LinkedIn?

ANSWER

Occasionally our content department creates a visual version of educational materials. These are great for providing clients and prospects with something easy to understand and that they are likely to share with their friends or family.

When we create new infographics, we will announce them in eGorilla. You can also find links to the infographics on the Letters Library or our User s’  Page.

We create these graphics for you to email with a short cover letter, post on your blog or website, and post to your social media (if your compliance permits).

If you would like to post these images to your social media profiles, we have some tips on how to get the best results!  To download an infographic, follow these steps.  Note that there are PDF and PNG file versions available

 Use a PDF for LinkedIn

 Use PNG for Facebook

  • Add the  infographic to your ‘downloads list’ just  like you would with a letter.
  • Follow the download steps.
  • Extract image or PDF from zipped download file.

To post an infographic to your social media profiles, follow these steps:

FACEBOOK

Log on to your Facebook account:

Select Photo/Video as your post type.

  1. Be sure to add a text segment that explains why you are sharing this content.
  2. The image will appear cropped when uploaded. This is okay.
  3. Do NOT post infographics to your story because they will be cropped and will not show your commentary.

Your post will look like this.

The image is cropped but the viewer can click on the image to expand it for a full view if interested.

On LinkedIn, you only want to post using the PDF format.

(The PNG file would be cropped in a way that will be confusing to viewers and will not encourage them to open the full view mode.)

Again ,   be sure to add a text segment that explains why you are sharing this content.
