Service Request Details Report

The Service Request Detail Report provides a detailed description of one or more service requests.

For each service request, the report includes:

  1. The description
  2. The assigned user
  3. Who it’s for
  4. The status, priority, and severity
  5. Notes
  6. Optional: activities associated with it

To generate the Service Request Detail report:

  1. Go to the Service Requests workspace

  2. Use the filters or saved lists to find the service requests you want to run the report on.

    To run the report for only a single request, ensure that request is selected.

  3. Click the Reports button    and select Service Request Detail Report.

Specify the parameters you want the report to use.

Choose one of these two:

  • Current Service Request – Choose this to run the report on only the indicated service request.
  • Current Contact List – Choose this to run the report on the whole list you have chosen.

Choose any of these:

  • Page Break After Each Service Request – Check this box if you don’t want two service requests to be on the same page as each other.
  • Show Activities – Check this box if you want the report to include activities.
  • Show the Full Note for Each ActivityThis will only be available if you checked Show Activities. Check this box to ensure that the complete text of each activity’s Note will be on the report. If you do not it will only include the first line of the note.
  • Activity Filter Options - This will only be available if you checked Show Activities. Set these filters to the criteria of the activities you want to see on the report, rather than all activities.
  • Show Contacts – Check this box to show each extra contact added to the service request in addition to who it is for.

Choose one of these two:

  • PDF – Choose this option to generate the report as a PDF.
  • RTF – Choose this option to generate the report as a text file.
