Security for Schedule Items

Security for Schedule Items

You can define view and edit security settings which will impact schedule items in both Gorilla 5 and Microsoft Outlook.

By default, schedule items, tasks, and entities data are synchronized between Microsoft Outlook and your Gorilla 5 user account. If you make a change to a schedule item in Outlook, it changes in your Gorilla 5 calendar.

By default, view and edit security is public in both Gorilla 5 and Outlook. You can change the view and edit security settings as follows:
  1. Open the schedule item and click on the Security Tab.
  2. Select the appropriate view and edit security options.
  3. When done, click the OK button in the top right corner to save

If you want to restrict who can view and edit any activity, you must set it when you initially add it.
