If you have permission to edit a report, you can do so by clicking the Edit Report button in two places:

Inside the Reports workspace, when hovering over the report, click the pencil icon on the right.

Inside a report, click the pencil icon on the top right.
If you want to customize a report that you can’t edit, use Clone Definition to make a copy of the report.
Once it is opened for editing, you can modify all aspects of the report.
