How to Remove a Category from G5
Note:
- Before the instructions below can be done, remove the custom field from each Household, Contact or Company it is on.
- Instructions for how to do that can be found here: How to Remove a Category from a Household or Contact
Go to the Customize Workspace. Select the Categories tab.
Click the Delete button on the category you want to have deleted.
Confirm the deletion.

Go to the Contact Workspace and click on the name of the Household or Contact you want to remove a category from. Go to the Detail Tab. Click the Delete button for the Category you want to remove. Confirm the deletion.
