How to Process Anniversary Procedures in Gorilla® 4.x

  • How do I process the Anniversary letters for the contacts in Gorilla?

 

ANSWER

  1. In Gorilla select Tools and then select Process Office Procedures.
  2. In the new Office Procedures Due window look at the Selection Criteria on the top left and uncheck everything except Wedding Anniversary. Make sure that Wedding Anniversary is the only item with a check mark next to it.
  3. Just below the Selection Criteria you can select a date range of when the items are due. Select a start and end date and select Display Items Due.
  4. You will now see a list of Due Items at the top right showing you the Due Date of the Procedure and other information. This due date is set to be 14 days before the person’s actual Anniversary. The date you are seeing is not their Wedding Anniversary, but actually the date 14 days before their Anniversary.
  5. Next select Process Items. This will set up a message for everyone listed. You do not have to select any of them for this to work.
  6. You should now see a Send Message window where you can then set up the message and print it out. Every single person in the list will have their own Send Message window show up for them; if you have 5 people in the list of Items Due, then you will have 5 Send Message windows to process one at a time.
