How to Navigate the Content Library

How to Navigate the Content Library

The Content Library contains all of the letters, emails, video scripts, campaigns and more that your BGM subscription gives you access to. You can access it from the Client Portal by hovering your mouse over the Content Library tab and selecting one of the options.

The six sections of the Content Library are:

  • Letters Library is where you will find all our letters, emails, and templates for both.
  • Document Library is where you will find white papers and other documents explaining the various processes that make up the BGM System.
  • Social Media Library is where you will find the social media posts you can post on your own social accounts.
  • Video Script Library contains scripts you can use to create your own videos for your business.
  • Campaign Center has the documentation for each of BGM’s campaigns.
  • eGorilla Archive has every issue of eGorilla we have ever sent out, available for your perusal.

Letters, Documents, Social Media, and Video Script Libraries

The Letters, Document, Social Media, and Video Script Libraries all have the same features:

The Search Bar

The Search Bar lets you type something in and find any results that match. It also lets you sort the results various ways:

  • Published will sort the results by the date they were published. This option will have the option of sorting by the newest at the top or the oldest
  • Downloads will sort the results by how often they have been downloaded, letting you know which ones are most popular amongst Users. They can be sorted with the most downloaded at the top, or the least.
  • Alphabetically (A-Z) will sort the results by each one’s title.
  • More will open a small window that lets you specify a number of tags to search through the results with. You can choose to search for Any Tags or All. Any will find content that has any one of the specified tags. All will return results that have all of the specified tags.

The Index

The Index on the left lets you manually navigate through the categories available in the library you are in.

Clicking one of these categories is the same as making a search using the search bar, for that category.

Clicking on a category will expand it into a list of subcategories. Some of these may be further expanded. This will be indicated by a down arrow to the right of the category.

Once expanded, the category will have an up arrow to the right of it. This indicates that you can click it to minimize the list of subcategories and return to the higher level.

If you have selected any categories within it to expand, the Clear Category button will appear at the top of the Index. This button will return you to the top level with no categories selected.

The Result Tiles

Your search results will be shown as a list of tiles, one for each result.

Each tile will contain:

  • Title – the name of that letter, document, script, etc.
  • Description – a description of what that result is meant to be used for.
  • Category - the category given to that result. This may be clicked on to perform a search for results that match that category.
  • Tags – This will list the tags given to that result. This may be clicked on to perform a search for results that match that tag.
  • Preview – This button will open a window showing you what you would be downloading if you decide to.
  • Bookmark Button will let you bookmark that result so you can find it easier from your Bookmarks.

Clicking on a tile will take you to a new page for that result.

The Content

This page will show the title at the top, and the full description below that. Some have longer descriptions that can be expanded to see the full text.

Beside the description is a Details tile that shows you how many pages it is, the categories and tags, and the date it was published.

Below the detail tile is a Preview, which opens the same preview you would have seen from the results tile, showing you what it looks like before you download it.

At the bottom you have the Files. This is where you can download the content. Choose the one that best matches your needs, based on CRM. The first file is always the preview. The preview is not compatible with any CRM. After that will be the rest of the files, each one listing which CRM they are used for.

Campaign Center

The Campaign Center contains all the marketing campaigns designed by BGM. Scroll down on the page to find the campaign you need. Then click on See Full Campaign to go to the page for that campaign.

The page for each campaign will describe the process it uses, who to use it with, and what you should get out of it.

Then it will list the downloads and files for that campaign. Most of these are for G4, however the Campaign Preparation documents can be adapted to many CRMs by your staff. A task made easier if you have one of our experienced Coaches.

Below that is a list of the letters that match that campaign, with links to their content library pages.

eGorilla Archive

This archive contains every edition of the newsletter BGM has sent since the year 2000. When you first open the archive, it will default to a list of them from the current year, with the newest at the top. You can select another year or use the search bar to search for a specific topic.

On the left, the most recent edition is listed with an excerpt taken from the contents.

You can click on the name of any edition to open that volume.
