How to Export a Custom Report to Excel

  • How can I get my Custom Report into Excel?

ANSWER


Once you have ran your custom report, you can export the data to Excel using the following steps:
  1. Click on the envelope icon with the red arrow from the top left of the report.

  2. In the Export window, choose MS-Excel 97-2000 (Data only) from the Format drop down. Leave the Destination as Disk file and then click OK.

  3. In the Excel Format Options window, leave the default selections as they are and click OK.
  4. You will then be prompted with where to save the file. Go ahead and choose your location. You can also change the name from the default given in this same window.

  5. Click Save.

You can now browse to the location where you saved the exported report and open it through Excel.

Note: The cells will be small by default, but you can expand them out and edit as needed in the spreadsheet.
