How to Create New Office Procedures in Gorilla® 4.x

  • How do I create new Office Procedures in Gorilla?

ANSWER

Before you begin to create the procedure you need to verify a few things:

  • You need to have a Procedure Recurrence created that fits what your Office Procedure is designed for. (Note: Problems may occur if the recurrence is set to less than 1 year.)
  • You need to have the Speedbutton for this Office Procedure created.
  • You need to choose which Selection Rule people need to belong to for use of this Office Procedure.

Once you have ensured that you have all of the above, you may continue with the following steps to create the Office Procedure:

  1. To create the Procedure, go to Tools>Define Office Procedures. The Office Procedures window should display:

  2. Click the “New Procedure” button.
  3. Type a name into the “Procedure Name” field.
  4. Choose the Recurrence you selected/created before starting.
  5. Choose how long before or after the event date you want this procedure to run (negative numbers are before, positive numbers are after, and zero is the same day).
  6. Choose the Speedbutton you will use in the Procedure.
  7. For Membership Condition, choose the Selection Rule for those that the Procedure will be used for.
  8. Click “Save.”
  9. Click “OK.”
  10. Your Office Procedure is created and ready to assign.
