This report will find and export the last touch and next touch of Households in your database. It will require a bit of cleanup once it is exported, so make sure you continue with the instructions after the report is created.
Go to the Reports Workspace.
Click Add Report to start creating a new report.
Select Contact Touches and then Blank Contact Touches report.
Name the report.
Change the View and edit permissions to Public.
Click on the Fields Select button to add the For, Last Touch Date, and Next Touch Date fields.
Click the Filters Select button.
Expand Touch Type, then check ID and select which Touch Type you want to create the report for.
Click the Sorting Select button and choose whether you want to sort by Last Touch Date or Next Touch Date.
Click the Save button in the top right. The report is now finished.
This will give a good report of who has been out of contact longest.
Repeat this for each Touch Type you want a report for.
To get the full list and clean it up follow these instructions:
Make sure you have the report open.
Hit the Export to CSV button in the top right.
Open the CSV file that it creates for you. You may need to choose a name and download location depending on your browser settings.
The CSV is going to have a lot of duplicates because the report will make a new entry for each contact period, so we are going to remove those.
Click Ctrl+A to select all data.
On the ribbon at the top choose Data.
In the Data Tools section choose Remove Duplicates. If you can’t see the names, it will look like three boxes with a red X on top of them.
A window will open about criteria. Make sure all columns are selected there and then hit OK.
This will remove all the duplicates from the Excel sheet and leave you with a single entry for each person that has a service level in your database. Sort as you needed in Excel.
