How To Add a Custom Field to a Household or Contact
Go to the Contacts Workspace and open the record of the Household or Contact you want to make changes to.
Go to the Details tab and find the Custom Fields card. Click the Add button.
Select the custom field type you want to add to the Household or Contact. Then click OK.
Enter the value you want that Household or Contact to have in that custom field. Then click OK to finish or Add Another to repeat this process with another custom field.
