Finding Empty Fields in G5

When contact or personal information is missing, it needs to be found and filled in. In order to do that, you’ll need to create a list of people missing that information.

To make that list, you use the Unspecified operator in a filter looking at that field.

The Unspecified operator tells the filter to find any contact that has that field blank.

Once you apply the Unspecified filter, you will likely also want to apply a Status filter to find a specific demographic of people.

For Example, when looking for missing birthdays, you likely only want to search the type of records that normally have birthdays recorded: Clients and their Families, which use the client status and the child of client status.

This is commonly used to find people missing:

Genders

For ones assigned as “Unknown” you will need to modify the filter.
