PROBLEM

• When sending a message to a selection rule, you get the error “database path uninitialized” followed by the visual basic debugger, and nothing will print.
  

SOLUTION

Reinstalling Gorilla should fix this problem.

Uninstall Gorilla

1. Right click on the Window Start Icon.
   
2. Select Programs and Features.
   
3. Locate “Gorilla CRM System for Financial Services” and click on it.
   
4. Click the “Uninstall” button at the top of the programs window.
   
5. When the wizard comes up, choose “Remove.”
   
6. Click “Next.”
   
7. In the Confirm Uninstall window, click “OK” and Gorilla will then be removed.
   

Reinstall Gorilla

1. Click here to download the installation files. 
2. Fill in your email address, first name and last name, company is optional, then click Continue.
   
3. Click on the Download button from the top right and save the file to your desktop, network drive, or USB drive.  Note : If you are installing on multiple computers, you will need to access these files from each computer. 
   
4. When the download is complete, click on the .zip file at the bottom of your browser, then right click in a blank area of the window that opened and choose “Extract All”.
   
5. Click on Browse and choose where you want to extract the files. Check the box that says “Show extracted files when complete” and click Extract.
6. Open the location where you just extracted the files to and then double click on the Setup.exe file to run the installation.
   
   • If you do not see the file extensions, look for the Setup file that has a type of “Application.”
     
7. Follow the prompts on the wizard to complete the installation.
