An Error Occurred While Running this Speedbutton

PROBLEM

  • When trying to run a Speedbutton, you get the following error message:

  • When trying to edit the Speedbutton, you get the error "Cannot Find Letter Setup."

 

SOLUTION

You will need to delete and then recreate the Speedbutton's command.

  1. In Gorilla, click on Tools>Speedbuttons
  2. Locate the Speedbutton causing the issue and expand it by clicking on the plus sign to the left.

  3. Right click on the Setup Message command and then choose “Delete Command.”

  4. You will get a message asking if you want to permanently delete the command, click “Yes.”
  5. Right click on the Speedbutton and choose “New Command.”

  6. On the right side of the screen, choose the Command Type – “Setup Message” from the drop down box.
  7. Enter in a comment if desired, as well as the offset.

  8. Click on “Edit Command Data” from the bottom right.
  9. In the window that opens, click on the small box at the right of the Letter field.

  10. Highlight the letter needed for this Speedbutton and click “Select.”
  11. Fill in any other information needed (i.e. Enclosure, Print on pre-printed Stationery, Print Portraits, etc. …) and then click “OK.”
You can now run your Speedbutton without error.
