PROBLEM

• Why does Scheduler not seem to recognize dates correctly?
• Why are some items set to the incorrect date in Scheduler?
• Why are my events disappearing from my Scheduler?
• Why is Gorilla saying my ESP has run out when it hasn’t?
• Why does my confirmation queue remain empty even though I choose to manually set the status?

CAUSE

The most likely culprit for these problems is that the date format in Windows is set to something other than the U.S. date format. For example, the date format Windows is using might be day/month/year while Gorilla expects it to be in month/day/year format. This causes Gorilla to misinterpret dates from Windows. To fix this issue, make sure that Windows is set to use dates in the month/day/year format.

SOLUTION

1. Right click the Start icon, then click “Control Panel”
2. Click “Region”
3. On the “Formats” tab change the “Short date” to “M/d/yyyy” in the drop down menu. Choose a “long date format” of “dddd, MMMM dd, yyyy”
   
4. Click “Apply”, then “OK”. Click “OK” in the “Region" window.
