Add an activity to a contact or contact group by clicking the Add button (
)
in the Activities Card or Activities Tab and selecting the activity type.
When adding an activity, the defaults for the For and Assign To fields are the contact and the user, respectively.
Use the For field to associate the activity with any other related contacts. Use the Assign To field to assign the activity to a user.
Click the Select button (
) to pick from a list of contacts. If the contact does not exist:
- Click the Add a new item button (
).
- Enter the contact information in the New Household tab.
If you remove the current contact from the For field, the activity will not display in that contact's Calendar tab.
Security for Activities
This tab allows you to select the appropriate view and edit security options. When done, click the OK button in the top right corner to save.
If you want to restrict who can view and edit any activity, you must set it when you initially add it.
