Activities

In Gorilla 5, an Activity is a record of any communication or interaction with a contact or contact group. This includes Schedule Items and Tasks.

A Task is an activity that needs to be done but has a due date rather than a specifically assigned date or time. A list of Tasks you have been assigned can be found in the My Tasks card in your Home workspace.

A Schedule Item is an activity with a specific time and date. They always appear in your schedule.

Scheduling Actions

Your home page, shows you Today's Agenda, My Tasks, Product Pipeline and Opportunity Pipelines.

You can view your team's individual and collective schedules in the Schedule workspace, your tasks that need to be done but don't yet have a date scheduled in the Tasks workspace.


Activities Card

This card is a quick summary of all the interactions logged for a contact.

You’ll find it on the Summary tab of a contact's record.

 


What You Can Do Here

  • View activities (by date range).
  • Add, edit, or delete an activity.
  • Mark an activity as complete.

Activities Tab

This tab shows all the activities for the contact.



What You Can Do Here

  • Search for activities.
  • Add new activities.
  • Manage existing activities by:
    1. Schedule Items
    2. Tasks
    3. Documents
    4. Emails
Activities can also be seen and edited in the Activities tab on the Opportunities and the Service Requests workspaces.
